Inside Sales Partner
Selling Best-In-Class Electronic Products
(Richardson, Texas)

To be considered for this job, you must either live in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas metropolitan area. The job is located at the corporate offices of Applied Concepts, Inc. at 855 E. Collins Blvd., Richardson, TX 75081.

Applied Concepts, Inc., with our STALKER brand of police traffic radar, is the industry leader in both performance and market share. We design, build, and sell all of our own products worldwide. Stalker Radar is recognized in both the Law Enforcement and Sports industries by the excellence of our products. Our products have been setting industry standards since 1990.

Applied Concepts, Inc., is seeking a mature and career-oriented sales professional to work in our inside sales department as an Inside Sales Partner. You will perform phone selling activities, throughout your assigned domestic multi-state territory, of the STALKER brand of speed measurement products to law enforcement agencies.

In addition to your phone sales activities and your administrative duties, you will provide sales support for your outside Sales Partner. In addition to a base salary, you and your Outside Sales Partner will share all territory sales commissions.

Sales Activities:

In partnership with your Outside Sales Partner, you will sell STALKER products in a multi-state territory. All departments with less than 15 sworn officers will be your sales responsibility. Departments with 15 sworn officers and above will be the responsibility of your Outside Sales Partner

  1. Communicate with customers and factory personnel using phone, email, and fax
  2. In partnership with your Outside Sales Partner, develop and execute an annual territory marketing plan that includes an annually adjusted sales quota


Administrative Activities:

  1. Prepare quotations, order entry, tracking, and follow-up
  2. Scheduling of appointments for outside sales partner
  3. Maintain account records including all account activities in a state-of-the-art Customer
  4. Relationship Management System – using your desktop computer
  5. In partnership with your Outside Sales Partner, provide monthly forecasting numbers


Job Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. A valid driver's license with a clear and verifiable driving record
  3. Pass a drug screening test


Desirable Critical Skills:

  1. Previous sales production of up to and including $2.5M annually
  2. Previous track record in successfully achieving annual sales quotas
  3. Experience selling to either government agencies or industrial customers
  4. Proven skills in planning, executing and following-through on leads and cold-calling
  5. Computer Literate (MS Word/Excel/Power point/Outlook/Microsoft Streets & Maps)
  6. Extensive experience documenting sales activities within an internal tracking database program
